scissor sisters

One of my friends was raving about this band, and I finally heard one of their songs last night (take your mama out) and now I'm in love! It's so "classic rock." In college my housemates always forced me to listen to "The Home," which was the local classic rock station, and I hated every second of it. I'm proud to say my music taste has evolved quite a bit since college (anybody remember "Bye Bye?") OK, I do still love that song, but you know what I mean.

I have been a useless lump since yesterday morning. I finally decided work was clearly not in the cards, and went out. This morning I bought some food and watched Desperate Housewives from last Sunday. In case you were wondering, my solution was to Tivo Survivor (which pretty much sucked) and watch Desperate Housewives on my roommate's DVR. Another killer episode. I'm completely smitten by Marcia Cross, I really hope she wins the Golden Globe. I have to admit I was pretty surprised Nicollette Sheridan got nominated for best supporting. I always loved her on Knots Landing, but I don't believe for a second she hasn't had any plastic surgery.

Now I'm eating gummy bears and getting ready to play some ping pong. Eventually this art law final will get written.
