I feel like I should write something about this tragedy, but the only thing I really want to say is that I think it's pathetic that our government is sending less money to these devastated nations than it is spending on Bush's inauguration. Pathetic.

In other news, I am finally leaving my childhood bed for greener pastures tomorrow. Although it will be difficult to top last year's thrilling New Year's Eve -- spent watching a Sex and the City marathon and going to bed before my parents got home -- I'm going to give it a shot.

I'm not sure dashes are the appropriate punctuation for the above sentence, but I had commas and I think that dashes look much hotter. Not, however, as hot as my hot pink cast. Which clashes absurdly with the shirt I'm planning on wearing tomorrow night. Pathetic. But not as pathetic as the money we're sending to tsunami hit nations.
