rip elmo

not getting bruce tickets was not the low point of my weekend. that honor belongs to getting my computer stolen. some asshole went into the study room where my computer was and took it while i was gone for a brief break. granted, it should have been locked up, and i almost always do lock it, but i figured for a ten minute break it wouldn't be necessary. oops.

i've calmed down a little, but i'm still pretty pissed off. my life has been one nightmare after the other for the last year (largely due to ankle problems) and it's hard enough getting around on crutches. i hadn't even finished paying off the computer from my credit card, and now i'll probably end up putting another laptop on it.

not to mention, i was really really about to start writing my A paper yesterday, actually excited for it. i said to myself, after this break, game on. you're going to pound out this paper once and for all. then i got back to find my computer missing. so instead of writing i went drinking. which was fun, but i'm still not very motivated to write. which is very very bad. booooooooooooooooooooooooooooo computer thief and booooooooooooooooooooooooooooo A paper.
