boston legal

even though it wasn't really boston legal's fault, i lost most of what little respect i still had for the show when it got nominated for a best drama emmy over the wire. i still have a season pass for it on my tivo, and tonight i caught an old episode.

can someone please explain to me how all of these people get cases and make final arguments before a judge within a week? i am a lawyer and i don't understand! is this just tv world, like when mexican brothers on 24 speak to each other in english?

LOL!

The one I hate is on all the Law & Order shows, whenever a detective confronts someone, they just keep doing what they were doing while they talk to the detective. For instance, if it is a UPS man, he just keeps walking and stacking his boxes. I mean really, if a detective walks up to me about a murder case, I'm gonna stop whatever the hell I'm doing and listen. Always bugs me...

Wait, you mean that pathologists can't get a DNA match in 20 seconds? Or scan an entire database of fingerprints while the CSI watches over their shoulder?

Next you'll tell me that doctors can't make 17 misdiagnoses and NOT kill a patient.

Welcome to TV land, where shows set in reality have to fit into a one-hour timeslot. Also, the worst you'll look at 3am after working on a case is that your tie will be a bit looser and one collar will be turned up.

Why is it when the detectives question anyone on Law and Order, they're all annoyed and pissed that the detectives are talking to them in the first place. I find most people friendly and helpfull. My mother would have bopped me upside the head if I ever talked to a policeman the way they do on TeeVee.

I watch Boston for the great social commentary and the way they make fun of the current administration so easily. Everything else is quite annoying. Especially when they do all those camera jerks. In real life all these characters would have been disbarred a long time ago.

Speaking of TV land - CSI. Nuff said.

And an even better one - WPT/WSOP/HSP where the worst hand always wins. TV land.

Why the F are you even watching Boston Legal to begin with? It's one of the most embarrassingly bad things on television. How could nobody have asked this question yet?!
